Introduction Bedhampton Social Hall Centre is facility for the residents of Bedhampton managed by the Bedhampton Social Hall Association who lease the building from Havant Borough Council. It is a modern building (opened in 2000) and has a high quality dance / sports floor. Because of this we require that users do not wear Stiletto heels or Kitten heels and recommend that shoes with a heel smaller in size than a 5p piece are not worn on the dance floor in the main hall. The main hall will cater for a maximum of 150 persons, there is also a meeting room with a capacity of 40 persons, and a members lounge which caters for 35 persons. There is a well equipped kitchen. (Please select the Facilities link for more information). The Association office is manned by volunteers on each weekday morning between 9:30 and 12:00 and it is probably most convenient to make enquiries during this period. The hall is also manned on weekday evenings between 17:00 and 18:00. The Association holds a Village Coffee morning in the lounge between 10:00 and 12:00 each Wednesday morning. A Tea Dance is held on the afternoon of the first Thursday of each month. Bookings On weekdays the hall is used for regular meetings by a number of groups and with the exception of Thursdays all evenings are fully booked. On Saturdays the hall is available for bookings for private parties etc. Please use the Bookings link for more information and availability.
